Europe’s biggest barrel organ festival
This year will see the 44th edition of this magnificent folk festival in Oingt. Around 130 barrel organ players will be coming from all over France, as well as from Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Slovakia… to enchant you with their melodies from days gone by and the present day. They will be playing in the village streets on Saturday 6 September from 2 pm and on Sunday 7 September continuously from 11 am.

Town Hall Square
- A lively open-air dance atmosphere with a barrel organ
- Guided exhibition of antique mechanical musical instruments (Town Hall)
- Organ-making demonstration by Pierre PENARD (Town Hall)
- Exhibition and sale of organ panels (Caveau) by Pierre CHARIAL
- Exhibition of antique musical instruments crafted by Philippe LABAINVILLE (Caveau)
- Gypsy concerts on the barrel organ (Salle Jaune) at 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm, 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday
- Refreshments and light snacks
Church Square
- Exhibition / Sale of organ soundboards by Jean-Marc PUIGSERVER
- Organ-maker’s demonstration: Didier BOUGON
- Lively guinguette atmosphere with barrel organ music
- Wooden games for the whole family
Market Square
- Children’s shows

Presberg Square

Church
- Musical performance by the Entre-Nous group, accompanied by a concert organ, on Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon at 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm, 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm
- Mass at 10.00 am on Sunday mornings in Oingt, accompanied by a concert organ
Village Hall
- On Saturday evening, a dinner and show, hosted by festival-goers, is available by booking (contact 06 88 15 05 52)

A festival run by volunteers
The Festival is organised by volunteers from the association, ‘Les amis du vieux village d’Oingt’. There are over 100 volunteers (refreshments, catering, car park, security, etc.) on hand to welcome you and ensure you have a wonderful time.
For over 70 years, the profits generated have enabled the association to restore the village’s heritage and offer you an ever more welcoming village.
Access and conditions
To get to the festival, please consider car-sharing. A secure cycle park and two disabled parking spaces are also available.
Three designated car parks will be clearly signposted; they are FREE, so don’t risk getting a fine…
