6th edition of the Children’s Book Fair in Cordes-sur-Ciel
For this 5th edition, the Children’s Book Fair will welcome over 20 authors, hundreds of books, shows, activities, exhibitions, talks, readings and creative workshops…
On 23 and 24 November, make the most of this haven to get away from it all, share, chat, learn and create in a friendly atmosphere.
Over two days, authors, illustrators, publishers and specialist booksellers will introduce you to their worlds and sign copies of their books. All genres will be represented, from novels to comics, including manga, illustrated books and poetry.
Exhibitions, workshops, activities
An introduction to pop-up book techniques with Philippe UG; a reading and Christmas card-making session for little ones based on Nathalie Antien’s picture book *Madame Pomme and Madame Poire Prepare for Christmas*; a comic strip workshop and an illustration workshop with illustrator Laurent Grossat; a ‘Yonkoma’ manga workshop with Tony and Maylis from Kool Books; a haiku writing workshop with author Mary Aulne, and the creation of an animated sequence with Frédéric Médrano’s stop-motion workshop…
Performances
On Saturday, the show “A Little Exploration in Utopian Territory”. An illustrated and musical reading where images, text and music become one.
On Sunday, the show “Minute, le temps d’un souvenir”. Minute the clown will tell you the story of Célestin, the collector of sorrows.
