Come and have a stroll around the Colmars market on Tuesday and Friday mornings! Colourful stalls, the scents of the mountains and the flavours of Provence invite you to wander through the aisles and treat yourself to some local produce.

A change of perspective at the Colletta viewpoint
Head up to the Colletta viewpoint and take in a breathtaking panorama of the fortifications of Colmars and the surrounding peaks. A 45-minute walk takes you to this veritable eagle’s nest, the perfect spot to relax on the sun loungers and admire the valley’s flora and fauna.

Ready to take on a challenge worthy of the Tour de France? Setting off from Colmars, tackle the Champs, Cayolle and Allos passes on a route that is as demanding as it is spectacular. Embark on this exceptional loop, set amidst alpine landscapes, reserved for seasoned cyclists in search of wide open spaces.

In spring, the trails around Colmars are ablaze with colour and the scent of flowers. Follow the mountain routes, such as the Col des Champs GR52A, through larch forests, mountain pastures and robinia groves. At the top of the passes, breathtaking panoramic views of the Mercantour National Park unfold.

Just a few kilometres from the village, at the Ratery 1 700 Nordic centre, you can enjoy cross-country ski trails and snowshoe routes in the heart of a snow-covered forest.
