Follow in the footsteps of the pilgrims to Saint-Antoine-l’Abbaye, a medieval gem dominated by its abbey at the gateway to the Vercors massif
Welcome to Saint-Antoine-l’Abbaye, the medieval gem of Isère! As soon as you arrive, the abbey church commands attention with its Gothic silhouette. Inside, you’ll discover an exceptional treasure and the story of Saint Anthony the Egyptian, whose cult has left its mark on the whole village.
The legacy of the Middle Ages is everywhere: in the narrow streets, in the old façades, and in the medieval garden, where plants from days gone by still grow.
