Word of Mouth

The Crottin de Chavignol owes its name to the village where it was made and to the Berry dialect word ‘crot’, referring to the clay pits where terracotta oil lamps were once moulded… and later, the cheese.

The Galaxy Poussière art agency, in association with Domaine Joseph Mellot, is pleased to present a new exhibition at the crossroads of art and wine: "Les Gouttes d?Ivresse". Through his photographic work, Yves Estrabaud explores the poetry of drops, those suspended fragments where matter becomes almost cosmic. In the hushed darkness of a cellar, these liquid pearls find a singular echo: here, water dialogues with wine, revealing their vibrations, tensions and sensuality. Between reflections, transparencies and sparkles, the exhibition invites us to a sensitive immersion where each drop becomes a world in itself, a frozen moment of intoxication, captured on the borderline between the real and the imaginary.
