At the confluence of the Tarn and Alrance rivers
Fifty kilometres south of Rodez, at the confluence of the Tarn and the Alrance rivers, the towers of a medieval castle overlook the village of Brousse, from which the castle takes its name. An old Gothic bridge spanning the Alrance leads to cobbled streets and a 15(th)-century fortified church.
