Pop into the Tourist Office, housed in the former Benedictine convent, and pick up some top tips for exploring the village. From the 17th-century Place des Couverts to the old grain silos, via the narrow streets lined with half-timbered houses and the fortified gate of Caussade, right through to the windmill: Lautrec is full of hidden gems!

One of the reasons we love summer in the villages is their festive atmosphere! Come and celebrate the Fête des Moulins in June, the unmissable Fête de l’Ail rose, the Fête du Pain or even the Festival des Arts en Pays de Cocagne in August: heritage, local produce, art and culture… Lautrec has something for everyone!

Set off on a fun treasure hunt through the heart of the village! With entertaining puzzles and clues hidden in the narrow streets, young and old alike will become true experts on Lautrec. Pop into the tourist information centre to check your answers and find out if you’ve uncovered all the village’s secrets.
The “Chemin des droits de l’homme” Greenway
Fancy a bit of exercise and some fresh air? Hop on your bike – or even a tandem – and follow the Greenway, a former railway line between Albi and Castres. An accessible and pleasant ride, ideal for exploring the landscapes of the Lautrécois region at your own pace.
Walks around Lautrec
Walking boots and a rucksack: set off to explore the trails around the village. Stroll through the Lautrec countryside along the Sentier de l’Ail trail (7 km / 2½ hours’ walk) or the Boucle des Crêtes loop (1½ hours / 5.7 km) for exceptional views of the Montagne Noire.
