Le Castellet takes centre stage

In the film *La Femme du Boulanger* (The Baker’s Wife), shot in Le Castellet, Marcel Pagnol tells the story of a baker on strike after his wife runs off with her lover… and of a village that unites to bring her back. The Place de l’Ormeau and the Roy d’Ys crêperie are the settings for some of the film’s most iconic scenes.
