A Puycelsian’s Account

In 1386, besieged and starving at the hands of the English, the inhabitants of Puycelsi came up with an idea: to parade their last pig along the ramparts. The English, taken in by the ruse, lifted the siege!

Cycling or moped rides

Explore the Grésigne Forest on a mountain bike or hop on a vintage moped for a trip full of character. Hilltop villages and vineyards will line the route as you enjoy a getaway in the heart of the Occitan Tuscan countryside.

PR® Heritage Trail

On fine days, set off along the Heritage Trail for a 12 km walk (around 4 hours). Waterfalls, oak woods and sweeping views over the Vère valley unfold as you walk.
