It is said that Enimie spent her final days in seclusion in the chapel at the entrance to the cave. The site is accessible via a Way of the Cross and offers beautiful views of the village.

It is said that the water from this spring cured Enimie, the daughter of the King of the Franks, of leprosy. In gratitude, she is said to have founded an abbey near the spring, which gave rise to the present-day village.

Flowing from a pool situated right in the heart of the village, the Burle spring displays magnificent colours ranging from turquoise to emerald blue. As the outlet of a karst system, this resurgence with its translucent waters is bound to attract diving enthusiasts. It was first explored in the summer of 1967, but the divers were then blocked by a pile of rubble obstructing the pool. Over the years, successive teams of divers have set out to explore the underground network and have managed to map out a system of passages stretching for nearly 400 metres.
