The Erves Dolmen
Step back in time in front of the oldest human artefact in the Mayenne! The Erves dolmen, over 6,500 years old, still watches over the valley… An impressive monument steeped in mystery that is sure to spark the curiosity of children (and adults alike) and offers the chance to enjoy a 3km walk from Sainte-Suzanne.
Trail Runs
Fancy a bit of exercise with friends? The Coëvrons trail running centre offers 10 routes for all ability levels, as well as three technical workshops. Follow the trails through the Vallon de la Vallette and the Sainte-Suzanne foothills – ranging from easy to more challenging – and embark on a sporting adventure through varied terrain, whilst breathing in the fresh air of the Coëvrons.
Walking route No. 31: “Around the town”
To the north of Sainte-Suzanne, follow the paths around the Camp des Anglais and explore the remains of a 900-year-old encampment. In less than two hours, combine nature and history whilst enjoying exceptional panoramic views of the Mayenne countryside.
Mountain Bike Route No. 29: La Table des Diables
Set off on this 16 km mountain bike trail in the summer sunshine! It takes you along sunken paths, past spectacular viewpoints and offers glimpses of the Grande Charnie forest, allowing you to discover Sainte-Suzanne through sport and nature!
