Choeurs Basques d'hommes Haiz'Egoa
Since 1999, the HAIZ?EGOA Kantuz choir has been part of the Haiz?Egoa association, headquartered on the ramparts of Bayonne in the heart of the city's historic heritage. Made up of 50 singers and 5 musicians, it's part of a world where the pleasure of singing, of course, but also of sharing and conviviality, come first and foremost. Today, the choir is made up of some forty members, an accordionist and two guitarists. It is directed by Maialen Errotabehere.

Choeurs basques d'hommes Nekez Ari
In 1972, in the heart of the province of Basse Navarre in the Basque Country, a few friends from the Saint Jean Pied de Port (Garazi) region, used to getting together and driven by the same passion for singing, created the group Nekez Ari. Their sole ambition: to sing traditional Basque songs. Without really believing in it, but also out of derision, they chose to call their group "Nekez Ari", which in Basque means "without pretension" or "with difficulty". Today, Nekez Ari has 22 singers under the direction of choirmaster Ekaitz Costa. Despite the passage of time, the Nekez Ari group remains true to its ideals: *To sing in the tradition handed down by past generations: *To show that today?s Basque people continue to compose and enrich their cultural heritage for future generations.

As part of the SPK METAMORPHOSE Photo Festival, a screening of "Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk," a documentary by Sepideh Farsi (running time: 1 hour 50 minutes) "Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk" is my response, as a filmmaker, to the ongoing massacres of Palestinians. A miracle occurred when I met Fatma Hassona (Fatem). Choeurs basques mixtes Xurxulak et Mendiz Mendi
By the end of 2024 in Garazi, the mixed choir Xurxulak (meaning “whispers” in Basque) brings together about twenty singers from various villages in the Basque Country and Béarn, from Labourd to Lower Navarre and the area around Pau. Led with passion by Patricia Arhancet, a renowned accordionist, and accompanied by the seasoned guitarist and singer Jean-Luc Proust, the choir primarily performs a selection of joyful and festive Basque songs. True to its spirit of openness, Xurxulak is gradually expanding its repertoire to include both secular and sacred songs.

"Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port: A Journey Back in Time" cycle loop
Hop on your bike and set off to explore the Basque countryside, winding through narrow streets, along the banks of the River Nive and along country lanes. This 14 km loop (2 hours) combines heritage with legends and crosses the Way of St James.
