On the way to Arles, via Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert

Also known for having facilitated trade and cultural exchanges between Rome and the Iberian Peninsula, via the Occitan region, the Arles Way is a 695-kilometre route taking 29 days to walk, from Provence to Santiago de Compostela.

An unmissable stop on this route, recommended by Aymeri Picaud himself, is Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, in the Hérault, known for its Abbey of Gellone, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela.
