From the top of its hill, Mirmande offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Rhône Valley.

Filming is underway in Mirmande!
In 2017, Mirmande was transformed for the film *The Incredible Story of Postman Cheval*, directed by Nils Tavernier and starring Jacques Gamblin and Laetitia Casta: streets were transformed, tarmac was covered with clay, and residents became extras!

Donkey walks
Meet Barnabé and Trésor and set off on a 4 km walk (about 1 hour) through the hills of Mirmande. Saddle them up, attach them to the trailer and let the children enjoy this fun and unique walk in the heart of the countryside.
Mountain Bike Ride – Route No. 9: ‘The 4 Ridges of Mirmande’
Ready for a sporting adventure? Set off on the ‘4 Crêtes de Mirmande’ loop, which takes you through forests and along steep trails to the Petit Jean, offering spectacular views over the Rhône valley. A route of nearly 24 km (allow around 4½ hours) for experienced mountain bikers.
Walk No. 7: “Tour de Mallivert”
In spring, the ridges and footpaths of Mirmande can also be explored on foot. This route, which is nearly 14km long (allow about 1½ hours’ walking) and suitable for all, will take you through the history and landscapes of the village. Starting from Sainte-Foy Church, as you pass through the forests, the Mallivert ridges and the Col de Papillère, admire the flower-filled landscapes and breathe in the fresh country air.
