Founded in 2015 by Amélie, La Rose Trémière soap workshop was born out of a passion for soap, a commitment to alternative consumption, and a strong preference for natural products.
The soap workshop offers natural soaps, free from colourings, synthetic fragrances and palm oil. Naturally, Amélie has chosen to offer only soaps made using the cold-process method, so that she can control every raw ingredient used in her products. Each soap is carefully researched and crafted to promote skin health. The ingredients used are organically grown and, where possible, sourced locally. The colourants are derived solely from clays, spices or minerals. Only essential oils are used for fragrance. In 2017, a range of candles was launched and has expanded over the years. In 2022, Gaëtan brought his expertise as a candle-making artisan to the business and began specialising in the candle range. Tours of their premises are now organised throughout the year.
